Hey Everyone,
Sorry I haven’t posted a blog in a while. I’ve been really busy, I just started College in Utah, so I’m trying to get back into the school routine. I got back from New Zealand two weeks ago. New Zealand was a blast, I was down there with the US Team. In my house we had a fantastic group of girls, Kelly Clark, Gretchen Bleiler, Elena Hight, myself, and our two coaches. All of us were down there for different reasons, but the focus while I was there was getting my legs back under me and getting some good riding in. I competed in the Burton NZ Open, and unfortunately didn’t do as well as I had hoped, but I had a great time competing in Slope, and Pipe. It’s fun to ride with the slope girls and mix it up a bit! At the end of the trip, my flight got canceled and my coaches and I were caught in New Zealand’s “Storm of the decade!” It was crazy, it never snows in Queenstown, and it snowed a bunch there. Cars couldn’t drive around, and we had to take a water taxi into town to get some food. All the ATMs were out of money. Needless to say it was a great adventure. It’s kind of fun being holed up somewhere because of weather, and we had absolutely no control over flying out or not. We ended up getting on the first flight out of NZ (after two days), and I made it back home. It was really fun trip, I can’t believe I’ve been to NZ seven times. Holy cow! Now I’m back in Salt Lake, I just started school, so I’ve been swamped with work, training, and my new kitty. Check out my new cat. His name is Dennis Hollingsworth the first!
Ciao ciao,

Hello everyone!
Hope you’re all doing fabulous. I did a shoot with Gatorade and ESPN a couple weeks ago at Mammoth Mountain. I was in Mammoth for a US Team training camp. We were starting our new dryland training programs and we were also getting some on hill riding in. Mammoth set up an air bag for us to try some new tricks into. We encountered some really crummy weather days during our two week camp, but by the end we were lucky enough to get three good halfpipe days in. The last day, ESPN and Gatorade came to film a segment called “Inside the Edge.” They followed me around for a day to see what my on hill riding and off hill training was like. Gatorade brought in one of their sports scientists Melissa to do tests on my body composition and hydration levels throughout my training day. It is always really interesting seeing the data from my riding days because it teaches me how I can better fuel my body to ride all day. It was great to work with ESPN as well. We lucked out with a beautiful day and great halfpipe. Thank you to everyone who was involved, and to everyone else, I hope you enjoy the segment!!!
Cheers,
Ellery

Hey Everyone!
I just finished up a fun week up at Big Bear Mountain with the Burton Women’s team. It was a great week – thanks to everyone involved. The park crew was awesome and made some really neat features. One day there was a log ride and a gap over a log. Another day was a Quarterpipe session; and the last day was the best. We hit this up-rail into a chain linked wall ride fence that they made for us. That was the scariest thing I’ve done in a while. We finished up the day with a hip that was really fun to hit with Spencer O’Brien, Kelly Clark, and Maddy Shaffrick! We packed up our bags and headed to LA for the night. Spencer O’Brien and I had a very early flight at 6:00AM. Now I’m currently on my way to France for European X Games. It should be a very fun week so stay tuned! Or you can always follow me on twitter.com/ellerybreck.
ciao ciao, Ellessss!
Hey everyone,
Just finished up X Games in Aspen. What a really exciting week. It was filled with great riding, fun spectating, tasty dinners at the Nike crib, and finally topped off with Louie Vito’s party, where Touble Andrew performed!!
Now I’m riding for a few days in Aspen with the US Team before the Olympians all head off to dominate in Vancouver!!
Cheers, eh
Hey Everyone,
Just got to Aspen for X Games a few days ago. Today we had practice and the pipe is very different from Park City, but it’s still very fun. Thursday we have qualifiers so let’s pray for some good weather! Women’s Superpipe Finals are on Saturday live on ESPN. Thinking of and riding for Kev and Danny!
